William Devitt Law Jr.

William D. "Bill" Law, age 83, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at his home in San Antonio,

Florida. He was born on October 13, 1942, in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968, a time in his life he

carried with deep pride and respect.

He built a life grounded in dedication, hard work, and family. He worked for the Port of Miami and later,

alongside his wife, co-owned Spring Gallery Florist in Midlothian, Virginia. Together they ran the

business for many years, and Bill could often be found delivering flowers throughout the community.

Bill had a lifelong love of sports to include golf. His involvement in the game began while he was living in

Richmond, Virginia, attending Virginia Commonwealth University, where he served as a Basketball

Games Manager and Assistant Golf Coach. His passion for sports never faded. He was a devoted Miami

sports fan, cheering faithfully for the Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, Dolphins, Marlins, and especially The

Miami Hurricanes. His pride for "The U" ran deep and never faded which he passed on to his daughters.

He was also a proud member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Bill will be remembered for his loyalty, his dedication to his family, and the pride he carried throughout

his life - especially in serving his country as a United States Marine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Law Sr. and Marie Doris Gray.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Debbie Law; his daughters, Michelle Galindo (Mark),

Jennifer Law, and Tiffany Law; his sisters, Doris Stephens and Kathy Andress; his grandchildren, Jacob

Galindo, Elyssa Galindo (Kenny Reinoso), Tonette Pellot (Manuel); his granddoggy, Elsa Grace; and his

great-grandchildren, Catalina, Alexander, Camila, and Douglas.

Though he has departed this world, Bill's spirit lives on through the memories he created and the lives

he touched. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9724 Cross Creek Blvd., Tampa, FL

33647. Plans for a celebration of Bill's life and his interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be

announced at a later time.
