William "Bill" Leis, 81, went home to his heavenly home on Wednesday July 30, 2025, with his family by his side. Bill was born on June 10, 1944, to the late Carl and Antionette Leis of Louisville, Kentucky. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and proudly served our country in the Army National Guard. Bill worked for American Standard for 35 years and retired from Alcor as a line worker. Preceded in death by his parents, grandson Carl Webb Jr. and sister-in-law Alice Leis. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Linda (Oster) Leis; two children Gayle Runyon (Jimmy) and Billy Leis (Teresa); five grandchildren; Cody (Taylour), Jadyn, Jillian, Olivia (Caden) two great grandchildren; Madeline and Danielle Webb and one on the way; five brothers Raymond, Nick (Linda), Charlie (Dolores), Albert (Mary Ellen) and Mike (Violet Gilstrap); sister Maureen Gratzer (Keith), many nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday August 5, 2025, at 11:30am St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, Louisville Ky with burial to follow St. Andrews Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 am-8:00pm and Tuesday after 9:00am at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
