William Lemon Obituary

He graduated from Red Bank Regional High School in 1956.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline in 2009.
He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1957 thru 1959 and was honorably discharged in April 1963. He was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Schoor-DePalma as a Senior Inspector before moving to N.C. William professed the Episcopalian faith.
An owner and breeder of beagle field champions, he was a former president of the N.J. Association of Beagle Clubs, Member of Lure Beagle Club, Spartanburg, S.C., Iodine State, and Brace Beagle Clubs.
William was a 50-year member of the Navesink Lodge No. 9, F. & A.M., Red Bank, B.P.O.E. No. 2613, Millstone Township, an exempt member of Tinton Falls Fire Co. No. 1, and a former member of the First Aid Squad in Tinton Falls.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 10 a.m. to noon followed by interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
