William "Bill" Lindahl, 76, of Wallace, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area. He was born November 27, 1946 in Menominee to Paul and Pearl Lindahl. Bill was a graduate of Menominee High School and entered the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart. He married the former Susan Dora on July 2, 1966.
Bill and Susan resided in W. Milwaukee, later in Menominee and then in the Wallace area. For many years Bill was employed as a supervisor at Menominee Paper Co. and later spent a few years at KSU before retiring. As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bill especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and had a special spot in his heart for his dog, Bear.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; three children, Michael (Christine), Timothy (Amy) and Jennifer (Bill) LaPalm; grandchildren, Derek, Noah, Jacob, Devon, Sierra, Dakota, Cheyenne and Shawni; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Loukas; and a brother, Jim (Vail) Lindahl. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Pat Bregovitz, Myrt Frederickson and Carol Schewe.
No formal service will be held.
Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home is assisting the family.
