William Ronald Maderos

William "Bill" Maderos, age 76, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Bill was born in Yreka, California, and grew up in Concord, California, a place he always considered home.

Bill graduated from Clayton Valley High School in Concord, California, as part of the Class of 1967. He went on to build a long and honest career as a roofer, working in the trade for over 40 years. He was known as a hard worker who took pride in providing for his family through dedication and honest work.

Bill was first married to Denise White for seven years and later shared 24 years of marriage with Bobbie Jean Prock. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Katherine Maderos and a loving brother to siblings Gary and Joel who have also passed.

He is survived by his children, Bill Jr., Jesse, Kelly, Ray, and Johnny; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Bill lived a life grounded in love of family and service to his country. He found happiness in spending time with his family, whether cheering on sports, playing golf or softball, or simply enjoying activities together. He was a car enthusiast and treasured Friday nights spent in his garage surrounded by family and friends.

Those who knew Bill described him as patient, loving, genuine, and steadfast. He showed love simply by being himself. He believed strongly in dignity, honesty, and the value of a hard day's work, and he valued family above all else.

Bill wished to be remembered as a hardworking, loving family man, and his family asks that his life be celebrated rather than mourned.
