Barbara Arlene Cagle- Maderos

Modesto, California - Beloved Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Darrell & Verdie Perry ,1st husband Benny Cagle and 2nd husband Ray Maderos, her brothers & sisters Dale, Wayne, Kaye, & Sandra. Arlene was born in Oklahoma and lived in Phoenix AZ for most of her young life. Arlene married Benny Cagle and had 2 sons, John Ray & Richard Cagle. Arlene candled eggs & worked at the Modesto State Hospital with Benny. Later they opened a used car lot- Benny as the salesman & Arlene as the bookkeeper that provided their income for the next 33 years until Benny passed. Arlene and her 2nd husband Ray had a 5th wheel RV and spent many enjoyable times traveling with friends on the road. After Ray passed, Arlene moved to Bakersfield to be near her sister Treva. In her last years, Arlene moved to Merced to be near her son Richard and his wife Marie. Arlene loved Yard sales, Playing Cards & Bingo, going to casinos, fishing and traveling, and being with friends and family. She always said she was blessed & grateful that her life had been full. At the end, when her body was failing, she told everybody she loved them but she was ready to meet her maker. Arlene is survived by her two sons , John & Richard, Sister Treva, grand children Jesse, Johnny, Adora , Richard, & Matthew, as well as numerous great grand children, nephews & nieces. Arlene is gone but will never be forgotten!
