William Manware Obituary
Bill was a dedicated Mechanical Engineer, working as the chief engineer of maintenance at Western Carolina University until his retirement. He was passionate about renovating homes with his wife, working in the yard, and maintaining his and his family's vehicles. Known for his skills in building and fixing things, Bill was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Bill is survived by his daughter Laura, and granddaughters Courtney and Jessica. He was preceded in death by his father William Augustine Manware, mother Ellen Emily Manware, daughter Lahna, and his wife Carolyn.
A visitation will be held at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva, NC on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local charity of your choice to enrich the community.
Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
