William (Bill) Mazo, 90, formerly of Westport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at Mozaic Senior Life, surrounded by family. He was the devoted husband of the late Doba Mazo and long-time partner of Lucy Ullmann of Weston, CT.

Bill was the father of Lisa Greenberg (Jim) and Gary Mazo (Gloria), and grandfather of Ari Mazo (Sami), Dan Pipe-Mazo (Jenn), Sara Nanchanatt (Alex), Michael Greenberg (Beth), and Sam Greenberg. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Ben, Adi, and Nolan.

A 1957 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Civil Engineering, Bill had a distinguished career at Bethlehem Steel's Ship Building division, Xerox (Rochester NY/Stamford CT), PepsiCo, Olympia & York, and Sordoni Skanska. He notably served as Project Manager at Olympia & York for four years on the Canary Wharf Global Financial Center construction project in London, where he also embraced the city's arts and restaurant scene.

Bill enjoyed boating, fishing, and especially golfing at Longshore in Westport, CT, including several golf trips to Scotland. He will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and dry but gentle humor.

A funeral service will be held at Congregation B'nai Israel, 2710 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT, on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with a private burial to follow. Shiva will also be held at Congregation B'nai Israel on Sunday, September 28, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with a service at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.org.
