There are no words to express all the years since 1969.
My Nana Hurlbut and Great Grandma McCabe's friendship his mother was instrumental in my upbringing.
I do enjoy the stories of organ club and gala parties at Dr. and Mrs McCabe's house .The music all through and in to my adult life of my children's Aunt Sue, kitty, and Aunt Marypat and great grandmother at their home in Norfolk,CT.
Billy was a dear father in law that was a devoted Catholic and so lovingly planned family events and outings for us and the many grandchildren.
He was a patient man who taught us to love each other, to pray and go to church and to love our neighbor.
He was a dedicated and wonderful grandfather to my children. His love for them Is beyond what the world has in it.
I will pray for his soul and pray he crosses over and finds his mother Mary my dear, dear grandmother in law and friend and his sister kitty who was such a humorous and sweet great Aunt to my kids and Aunt in law to me and his brother great uncle Mike to the kids who was always there at fmily gatherings to lend a helping hand and worked so hard for us clening up and enjoyed playing with the children, in the afterlife where he will be at peace.
He was the best father a daughter in law could ask for. He will be sadly Missed. He gave so much to each one of us ,the dividends will be endless in heaven.
With much love from 1969 to 2025.

My deepest sympathies to the McCabe family. I grew up with his son Jim and was a frequent guest at their home on many weekend sleepovers. Bill was always a gracious host shuttling all of us around before we received our licenses. I always felt comfortable and part of the family... so many great memories. Peace and comfort to all who knew and loved him.
