Bill was my teacher and friend. I don't know how many times I knocked at his door and asked him all sorts of questions about engineering and dam construction--especially Buffalo Bill Dam. I will always remember the tours he gave me while the dam was raised to provide more storage water.
He was never too busy to help me out.

I will remember him as a special friend.
