William McDowell Obituary
Billy is survived by his children, Christy McDowell (Chris Freer), Jessica McDowell Bordeaux (Justin), Billy McDowell, and Angela Warren (Tommy); and eight grandchildren, Elijah, Tyler, Max, Shawn, Issac, Hailey, Jack and Ashlin.
Billy will always be known for his sense of humor. He was a retired self employed construction worker, with over 50 years in the business. He was a woodworking enthusiast that could make anything, including tables, jewelry boxes, and chess boards. Billy loved classic rock, bluegrass and rustic country music. He always enjoyed taking family trips the the beach and their weekend flea market trips, doing what he loved best, finding a bargain.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St., Franklinton, NC 27525 where some of his favorite foods will be provided.
Arrangements are entrusted to Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services.
