William "Bill" McGehee, age 81, passed away peacefully at Springfield, Missouri, with his family by his side. Bill was born in Lawrence County, Missouri on August 03, 1944, to Leslie and Myrtle (Kerr) McGehee.

In the years he served in the Army, he was a Green Beret. Bill loved to do woodworking, mainly refinishing furniture and collecting trains. He and Janice enjoyed going to sales and filling their flea market booth.

He is survived by loving family, Janice Bryant and Kirk Taylor of Springfield and one step-granddaughter, Maranda (Ryan) Gulick and other extended family and friends.

He was very loved and will be truly missed.
