Ronald Gene McGehee, a lifelong resident of Jenks, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, at the age of 67.
Born on July 19, 1958, in Tulsa, Ron grew up in Jenks where he built a life rooted in hard work, love of the outdoors, and devotion to his family. He learned the HVAC trade from his father and spent his career fixing heaters and air conditioners, beginning at the family business, McGehee Heating and Air. Over the years, he became known not only for his technical skills, but also for his honesty, dedication, and work ethic.
Ron had a deep love for the simple pleasures in life. Whether he was fishing by the water, playing a game of horseshoes, or tending to his garden, Ron was happiest outdoors. Many admired his "green thumb" - it seemed that anything he planted would thrive. His yard was always full of color, life, and care, a reflection of the man he was.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Ashley McGehee, whom he loved dearly, and his sister, Lori Jo McGehee. His presence, his laugh, and the quiet strength he carried will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to spend a moment outside - plant something, cast a line, or simply enjoy the sunshine - just as Ronald would have wanted.
