They were the center of his world and he never let a day go by without telling them so.
Affectionately known as "Big Bill," he often said his second greatest accomplishments were his eight grandchildren, each of whom he adored: Conor, Madeline, Abbey, Jack, Riley, Patrick, Andy, and Gus. They share countless treasured memories with Grandpa - from traveling to watch them compete in sports, trips to Savannah, high school graduations, fantasy football leagues, and unforgettable, forever cherished, family FaceTime calls. The family's shared love for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankees was a bond forged for life.
Bill also leaves behind his longtime partner, Sally McMullin. His family is deeply grateful and appreciative of her companionship, love, and care over the years. His big heart extended well beyond his own family and to their friends who affectionately remember him as a second Dad.

He dedicated countless hours serving on the Little Silver Town Council, along with the Parks and Recreation Board.
