SUNBURY – William F. Metzger, III, 66, of 341 Vine Street Rear, passed away Monday July 21, 2025, at Nottingham Village, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Sunbury, on September 1, 1958, he was the son of the late William, Jr. and Esther Frida (Brannon) Metzger.
William was a 1977 graduate of Shikellamy High School, Sunbury.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons, Jason A. Metzger of Sunbury, Scott Metzger and his wife Kaitlin of Kulpmont; a daughter, Michele Metzger of Sunbury; three granddaughters, Kali Metzger, Sabrina Metzger and El Burns; a great grandson, Pharom Whary; a brother, Keith Metzger and his wife Debra of Sunbury and his previous wife Martha Frey. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by a grandson, Jason “JJ” Metzger.
