William Michael "Mike" Fields, 77, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Mike was born in Abbeville, South Carolina and lived most of his adult life in Rincon. He liked watching sports and was a Georgia Bulldog, Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcon's fan. Above all, Mike enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Underwood Fields; parents, William Marvin and Lena Mae Campbell Fields of Anderson, SC; daughter in law, Kasey Fields; sister-in-law, Betty Chambers; and nephew, Timothy Underwood.
Survivors include his son, Michael "Sean" Fields; daughter, Stephanie Fields Arnsdorff (Wesley); grandchildren, Lyncoln Fields, Bishop Fields, Ryan Jackson (Gina), Stephen Jackson, Nathaniel "Nate" Jackson, Ella Arnsdorff and Eden Arnsdorff; brother-in-law, Sonny Underwood (Mona), and Gene Underwood (Donna); nieces and nephews, Chris Barnard (Pam), Troy Barnard, Kate Busbee (Daniel), Amy Underwood and Holly Shuman.
Visitation will be held on at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10am-11am with a celebration of life to follow at 11am in the chapel of the funeral home.
