He was born on November 30th, 1938, in the St. Albans neighborhood of Queens, New York, to William C. Miller and Mae J. Miller.
After High School, William "Bill" served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked as a police officer at the New York City Police Department, retiring after 18 years. Bill was a man that lived 50 lives and was a Jack of many trades. In addition to being a police officer, Bill was also a glazier, owning his own shop at one point, a limo driver, long-haul truck driver, and a residential contactor. He and our mother also had a dream of opening their own restaurant called "The Happy Clam".

Bill is survived by his brother, Steve Miller, sister Ginny Kohler, his 3 children, 4 grandchildren: Brittany McCullers, Courtney Lucy, Jessica Mueger, and Charlie Miller, and Great Grandson, Braxton McCullers.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Miller.
Bill loved anything related to home improvement. Besides boating it was his one true passion. He was also known for being perpetually late for dinner because he was constantly in the middle of a project.
