MRS. CINDY BAKER
Mrs. Cindy Green Baker, 59, of Grantville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the home of her mother.
Born December 30, 1966, in Atlanta, Mrs. Baker had lived in Grantville for the past 30 years and had previously been employed as a medical receptionist. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and was always willing to take the time to listen to and help others. Cindy loved her dogs, enjoyed fishing, and loved cutting grass and riding the tractor.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Baker of Grantville; daughters, Ali Baker of Grantville and Amber Williams (Austin) of Milton, FL; grandchildren, Cody and Stormi; her mother, Claudia Green of Grantville; sister, Debra Turpin of Anderson, SC; brother, Bill Staton (Laura) of Chocowinity, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Green and her brother, Dwayne Green.
Funeral plans will be announced later.
