William Montgomery Obituary
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2024, at Grandview Memorial Park, Cherry Road.
A native of Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Montgomery was a son of the late James Luther Montgomery and Mildred Cullendar Montgomery. He was a proud veteran serving his Country in the United States Navy. He will be remembered for his strong faith in the Lord, and his desire was for people to have a relationship with Christ. He was a proud husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Elaine Montgomery; two children, Donna Helms (David) and Jeff Montgomery; a brother, James Montgomery (Dianne); a sister, Shirley Rochester; six grandchildren, Brooke Pantaleon (Daniel), Josh Montgomery (Jessica Phillips), Justin Montgomery (Erin), Ryan Montgomery, Becca Helms (Luke Chappell), and Liz Martin (Justin); and nine great-grandchildren, Abby Lyn Pantaleon, Brynley Pantaleon, Eli Pantaleon, Callie Montgomery, Connor Montgomery, Raegan Montgomery, Sandy Jack Montgomery, Colton Montgomery, and Maverick Martin.
Memorial donations may be made to Celebration Place Church of the Nazarene, 106 Flushing Drive, York SC 29745.
