William R. Morrison, 86 of Connellsville died on Monday November 24, 2025 in Monarch Meadows Personal Care Home, Uniontown. He was born on September 24, 1939 in Confluence, PA a son of the late Reeves and Watie Nicola Morrison. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1958 and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was employed by General Motors in Ohio for many years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was a member of the Connellsville Church of God on Breakneck Ave. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Shultz Hunker Morrison; daughter, Shelly Farlow and her husband Brian of Elyria, OH; step children, Sheila Evans of Elyria, OH, David Hunker and his wife Marlene of Connellsville, Gary Hunker and his wife Lisa of N. Apollo, Pa., Edward Hunker and his wife Jennifer of Atlanta, GA, Danny Hunker and his wife Renea of Connellsville, Glenn Hunker and his wife Jerene of Normalville and Jean Stansak and her husband Jeremy of South Connellsville; two grandchildren whom he raised, Glenn Hunker, Jr. and Aaron Hunker as well as many other grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Wretha Joyce Stewart Morrison. step children, Curtis Hunker and Renee and his siblings, Roma, Betty, Pauline, Eugene, Ted, Shirley, Dorothy, Orpha and Mary Catherine. There will be no public viewing. Family and friends will be received in the Connellsville Church of God, 126 Breakneck Ave., Connellsville on Saturday December 6, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. the hour of a Memorial Service with Pastor Chris Campbell officiating. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Monarch Meadows and the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their care and concern for William during his time there.
