William Francis Morrow
Born May 3, 1933 and taken Home to rest on May 1, 2025.
"Bill" as he was known to everyone was an incredible husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife Rita (Scaruzzi). Bill and Rita have been together their entire adult lives and have four children who absolutely adored their "pop": Denise (Vic) Rudolph, Michael (Lisa) Morrow, Lisa (Warren) Leary and Anthony (Robin) Morrow. "Pop-Pop" also had 8 amazing grandchildren who he loved so deeply, and was extremely proud of: Kimberly, Warren, Evan (Peyton), Olivia, Ethan, Jane, William and Bennett. Bill was kind, patient funny and loving, he was always there for his family and friends. He will leave a void impossible to fill but so many wonderful memories to cherish as well. Bill is also survived by his sister-in-law Carmella as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Bill would say his name was William "Edward" Morrow for his entire life. He lost his brother Edward in the war when he was just a kid. Bill was extremely close to Edward and carried his picture in his wallet every day of his life and wanted that wallet in his back pocket up until the very end.
Bill loved family gatherings and a nice steak on the grill. He enjoyed hunting with his friends and sons and fishing and crabbing with his children. He was an extremely talented artist and made that a side career. He was the first one out on the dance floor at any event and the last one to leave the casino! He loved the horse races and playing cards with long-time friends and family.
Bill grew up in Philadelphia, Pa and raised his family in Lumberton, NJ. He was an Army Veteran and a hard worker who put all four of his children through private schools. He took his family to church every Sunday and every summer made sure they had a fun filled vacation in Wildwood, NJ.
In his last few years pop found a passion for puzzles. They gave him great pleasure and a sense of pride. He started a new one just 4 days before his passing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 30th at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Main St., Moorestown. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family from 10am – 11am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to St. Jude's Hospital for Children at www.stjude.org
