William H. Morse Jr., age 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Plymouth Rehabilitation Center. He was the beloved husband of Joyce Carol (Boyden) Morse and the son of the late William H. and Marguerite Dean (Peebles) Morse Sr.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on December 30, 1943, Bill was raised in Waltham and Lincoln. He was a proud graduate of Vermont Technical College. Bill and Joyce met square dancing at a high school dance when they were 16. During his last year at Vermont Technical College, Bill and Joyce were married and were truly blessed by their Heavenly Father with 61 years of marriage.

William served his country as a United States Army veteran and later worked as a manager in the fish and seafood department at Angelo's and Stop & Shop supermarkets until his retirement. A man of deep faith, he was an active member of the Chiltonville Congregational Church and later Faith Community Church.

A true outdoorsman, Bill cherished his time on Cape Cod, especially walking and fishing along the Cape Cod Canal. He had a passion for fishing-particularly for blues, bass, and flounder-and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. Quiet and reflective by nature, Bill found joy in the simple pleasures of life and was most fulfilled when surrounded by his family, especially his treasured grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife Joyce, Bill is survived by his children, Marsha Grabau of Plymouth and Gregory Morse and his wife Marybeth of Plymouth; and his beloved grandchildren Jack, Abby, and Noah. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Faith Community Church, 29 Carver Road, Plymouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:
