William F. Neuroth

Ishpeming, MI - William Frederic (Bill) Neuroth, age 88, former Casey Lake resident passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where he had resided for the past few years.
Bill was born in Detroit on October 17, 1935, a son of the late Johanna (Schweingruber) and George Neuroth. He grew up in the Detroit area and was a graduate of the Plymouth High School, Class of 1954. He furthered his education at Wayne State, receiving a bachelor's degree in German. Bill had worked as an insurance agent for the Allstate Insurance Co. in the Detroit area, retiring in 1998. Bill loved spending time at the Casey Lake Camp with his wife, children and grandchildren. Bill also loved fishing, woodworking and traveling. Some of his traveling adventures took him to Alaska and around Europe.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Helene L. (Edling) Neuroth of Ishpeming, daughter, Sandra (Kevin Zwierzchowski) Ling of Atlanta, GA, two sons - Bill (Cathy) Neuroth of Hartland, MI and Paul (Beth) Neuroth of Vestavia Hills, AL, 5 Grandchildren - Robert, Casey, Nicholas, Olivia, Max, and 3 great grandchildren - Rhett, Reece and Knox. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Hans Neuroth.
The family wil greet relatives and friends from 10:00am - 11:00am on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Faith Lutheran Church on Co Rd 581 in Ishpeming. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am with Bishop Emeritus Thomas Skrenes to officiate. The service will be livestreamed at facebook.com/faithinishpeming/ A luncheon will follow in the church basement.
