William Henry Nowell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Henry Nowell who departed this life kicking, screaming and moaning at home on July 12, 2025 at the age of 81. He wanted to live to be 120 and shot in the back by a jealous lover.
Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on June 29, 1944, Bill was a loving husband, giving father, and steadfast friend. He was preceded in death by his brother Rick Nowell, his father Ernie Nowell, his mother Muriel (Micki) Clarke-Nowell, his brother Butch Nowell, his sister Joy, his cherished son, Chris Nowell, his devoted wife Lee Nowell, his nephew Andrew Donaldson, niece Jeannie Jessop, and nephew Stan Capiak.
Bill faced life's joys and sorrows with strength. He will be remembered for his grand sense of humor, wittiness, laughter and living life to its fullest. In his life he faced profound losses, he remained a pillar of support to those around him.
He leaves behind his daughter, Tracy Nowell, who is his strongest and greatest pride. She has provided his source of comfort in his later years. Their bond was unbreakable and she was and wis his strength and support as she remained by his side to the end.
Bill has touched many lives throughout his time as he was a welder, master electrician, head spokesperson at the Canadian Steelworkers Union, member of The Canadian Legion, and The Elks Club of Englewood. He will always be remembered as the life of the party making every room brighter.
Graveside service will be held at Venice Memorial Gardens at 11 am followed by lunch at The Crow's Nest.
