William Ace

Ace, William James "Bill," age 65, of Ridgewood NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Born in Paterson NJ, Bill grew up in Paterson and Ho-Ho-Kus. About 30 years ago, he became a resident of Ridgewood where he had lived for most of his life. A sports enthusiast, Bill often watched ESPN and was an annual season ticket holder of the New York Jets. He participated in numerous outdoor activities such as golfing, hunting, and snowmobile riding. For many years, Bill served as a golf caddy at the Ridgewood Country Club. He enjoyed spending time with people, especially his family.
Bill was the beloved husband of Cindy (nee Lascar) Ace for 42 years. Loving father of Jennifer Ace and her husband Sam Verity, Jessica Ace, Nicole Ace, and Justin Ace. Grandfather of Sienna Verity. Brother of Christina Holm, Jayne Ace-Bosgra, and Griff Ace. Predeceased by his two siblings, Carole Ace-Hallowell and Margaret Leatherow. Brother-in-law of Walter Lascar, Jr., Jeff Lascar, and Tiffany Marfoglia. He is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cremation will take place privately and a memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
