William Ohse

William Leroy Ohse of Largo, FL passed away on October 15, 2023, hours before his 80th birthday. His kindness and selflessness touched many. Born in Custer, Michigan, to a large and loving family, he joined the Navy and served as a Radioman in Hawaii and Maryland. He moved to Florida 50 years ago and married, and worked hard to provide for his growing family. After retirement as a construction foreman, he could always be found outside soaking up the sun by the pool, on his three-wheeler bicycle, or working in the yard, if not dancing to the music.
He was predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Claudette, father August and mother Edna, siblings August, Ella, Emma, Eda, and Dottie.
He is survived by son Bill, daughters Beth and Julia, step-sons Dale and Randy, grandchildren Brad, Brandon, Tara, Teagan, Bailen, Sean, Casey, and Kay, great-grandchildren Eden, Dalia, Jessinia, Killian, Sofie, and many cousins and nieces and nephews.
He will be interred above Claudette, to forever be in her arms and heart.
A limb has fallen from our family tree that says grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter and the song, and most of all the good life I lived while I was strong.
