Carol L. Ohse, 87, of Carbondale, KS passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. She was born January 24, 1937 in Lebo, KS the daughter of Lloyd and Margaret Anona (Elmore) Stevens. She graduated with the Class of 1955 at Carbondale High School.
She was united in marriage to Henry Ohse on August 7, 1956 in New Mexico. From this union two sons were born, William and Michael Ohse. They shared over 67 years of marriage.
Carol was a Secretary at Forbes Filed Air Force Base in Topeka, Kansas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, fishing and boating at Pomona Lake, Pomona, KS.
Mrs. Ohse was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Margaret Stevens; and a son, William "Bill" Ohse.
Surviving family includes her husband, Henry W. Ohse of the home; a son, Michael L. Ohse of Carbondale, KS; two granddaughters, Brandy and Jessie Ohse; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and Interment will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 8616 SE Ratner Road, Berryton, KS 66409. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.lamb-roberts.com.
