William Danny Oliver

Mr. William Danny Oliver, age 71, entered into rest on Friday, February 6, 2026. Mr. Oliver will be cremated and the family will hold a private ceremony at a later date.

Mr. Oliver was born May 27, 1954 in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late W R and Doris Allen Oliver. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and a retired employee of Hanson Sand and Gravel with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Ruby Masonic Lodge #314 and a volunteer fireman with Ruby – Mt. Croghan Volunteer Fire Department. An avid outdoorsman, Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Oliver was also preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Arant.

Survivors include his children, Dawn Oliver, Lee Oliver, and Melissa (Kevin) Hedrick; grandchildren, Josh (Alisha) Melton, Dylan (Erika) Melton, Ryan (Haley) Mills, Marley (Spencer) Pegues, Case Oliver, Tinsley Oliver, Brandon Sikes, and Cheyenne Hedrick; 14 great grandchildren; and one on the way; beloved sister, Joyce Oliver (Kevin) Price; numerous nieces and nephews including special niece, Elisa “Tater” Fair.
