William Orr Obituary
A native of Oconee County, Mr. Orr was the son of the late Dell A. and Beatrice Abercrombie Orr. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and retired from Jacobs Chuck Manufacturing. Mr. Orr was a member of Cheohee Baptist Church after previously serving as a deacon at Little River Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Orr is survived by his daughter: Donna Burgess (Rick); and granddaughter: Brittany Boggs (Ryan).
Mr. Orr was preceded in death by his brother: Kenneth Orr.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Oconee Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital at https://donate.shrinerschildrens.org.
The family is at their respective homes.
