My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pacella family. Bill was the patriarch of one of the most prominent horse racing families in Illinois.
Rest in peace...

I will miss Bill very much. We had some great times at the Kentucky Derby and the race tracks in California. He was a very generous and kind man, a fabulous and devoted husband and father and grandfather.
I´m positive you´ll be joining his brother Popeye and his buddy Louie G in placing their bets on all the different horses at all the various tracks.
My prayers are with his wife and his sons.

Bill always had a smile on his face and was welcoming and kind. I still appreciate him allowing me to work as a truck driver for him when I was a young rookie and nobody else would. I had some of the best times of my life working at Pacella as a young kid and the memories live on. Rest in Peace Bill you had a full life many people look up to you.

Mr Pacella lived in our neighborhood growing up, I remember him whistling when his boys were to come home after playing all day, one whistle and they knew to be home, he was a man to be respected. I also remember going to gambling boat with Mr Pacella with a group of us when I was in my 20´s, he was so fun, very generous man, he made me love the game of craps to this day!! He will be missed.
