Youngstown - A public memorial service and celebration of life for Christine M. Pacella, 60, of
Youngstown, will be held on Saturday, 11/01/2025 at 11:00 am at Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown, preceded by visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with all who knew and loved Christine welcome to come share memories, offer support, and honor a life that touched many.
Christine passed peacefully after a courageous battle with pneumonia. Born on June 10, 1965, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Vince Pacella and Barbara Limberty. From the very beginning, Christine walked through life with a creative heart and a free spirit.
Known to those close to her as "Chris," she had a remarkable way of seeing beauty where others might not. She loved to draw-sometimes whimsical, sometimes intricately expressive. Her hands were rarely still, always crafting, painting, or creating something meaningful. Her art was a quiet reflection of who she was: thoughtful, imaginative, and full of color.
Chris went to Springfield Local High School in 1980 and made her home in the Youngstown area. She had a natural ease with people, and a laugh that invited others in. Whether spending time with her partner, Vincent Mileto, or going out with friends, Chris cherished connection, humor, and the little joys in everyday life.
She is survived by her seven children: Danny Smith (Christine Longo), Rocklyn Gatta (Sean Gatta), Annika Hartzel (Brett Hartzel), Heather Ritterspach, Mariah Isaac, Ericha Juriasingani (Kaleb Brothers), and Aaron Juriasingani. She also leaves behind her brother, Robert V. Pacella of New Middletown, and four grandchildren: Kyle Smith, Bree and Wyatt Hartzell, and Brynlee O'Donnell.
Christine's creativity was not just something she did - it was who she was. She painted her world with kindness, humor, and quiet strength. She found joy in the little things: a new sketchbook, a sunny afternoon, a warm conversation. Her life may have been simple, but it was deeply felt and richly textured.
Though her time here was far too short, the impressions she left behind were lasting not just in the artwork she created, but in the lives, she touched, the laughter she shared, and the memories now held close by those who loved her.
"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy." - Inuit Proverb
Christine will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and quietly celebrated - now and always.
