William Pate Obituary
Mr. William “Cash” Pate, age 62, of Chapel Hill, TN, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, July 27, 2025. Cash was born October 11, 1962 in Biloxi, MS to the late Dan and Jane Pate. He graduated from Antioch High School in 1981. Cash was an amateur boxer from 1974 to 1981 coached by Billy Collins Sr. He received 3 Golden Glove Awards.
Cash was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He had a huge heart and would give his last dime to anyone in need. He was a very loving, caring, and thoughtful man known by everyone as “Uncle Cash.”
Cash is survived by his sister, Dana Caldwell of Chapel Hill, TN; nephews, Justin (Blair) Caldwell and Joseph Caldwell of Chapel Hill, TN; great Nephews, Gage and Aiden Caldwell of Chapel Hill, TN; great niece, Carly Caldwell of Spring Hill, TN.
There will be no public services scheduled at this time.
