William Perez Obituary
He served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. After his time in the military, he worked in law enforcement for the majority of his life; in Corrections, the Sheriff's Office, and as an academy instructor. His passion was shooting, and he was an expert marksman when it came to rifles. William would often be an advocate for veterans in need. He helped dozens of veterans who could not obtain resources from the Veteran Administration. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Compass Lake Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Perez; his son, Jeremy Perez (Amy); Grandsons, Jaiden and Santino Perez; granddaughter, Remi Perez; and his sisters; Blanca Vargas, Delia Tirado, Miriam Rodriguez, and Doreen Dooley.
No services are planned. Memorialization will be by cremation.
