William Arthur Pickett, Korean War veteran, fire protection engineer, co-founder of Delta Fire Systems, private pilot, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 95 on February 1, 2026. He is reunited with his loving wife, Catherine Louise, an incredible and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother who preceded him in death on March 9th, 2023. They were married on March 2, 1951 and enjoyed 72 years of being together. Fiercely loyal to each other and their family they worked hard together and were able to provide a wonderful lifestyle for themselves, their children, grandchild, and many others. Catherine’s quick wit complimented William’s quiet meticulous nature. They are missed by many friends, their daughter, Diane, grandson, Sean, and Sean’s wife Rachel. William will be laid to rest alongside Catherine at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
