William Joseph Pospisil, 54 of Acme, Pennsylvania died Thursday, March 20, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.
William was born May 8, 1970 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Lawrence and Barbara (Fontanazza) Pospisil of Acme.
He was a member of Saint Boniface Roman Catholic Church of Chestnut Ridge and Saint Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe.
He was employed by Latrobe Brewery in the Maintenance Department.
He is survived by his loving family, his fiancé, Pamela J. Piper, of Latrobe. His children, Amanda (JR) Flowers of Latrobe, Jennifer Piper (John) Jasper of Cresson and Justin (Christin) Piper of Blairsville. Grandchildren, Cameron Flowers of Latrobe, Kendall and Hayden Piper of Acme and Gracie Jasper of Cresson.
William is also survived by his brother Lawrence (Judy) Pospisil of Acme, his sister, Christine (Timothy) Bureau of Acme and his sister Annamarie (Donald) Ament of Acme. His nieces and nephews, Maggie, (Stephen) Dominick of Latrobe, Donald Ament Jr. of Acme, Timothy (Heather) Bureau of Acme, Lawrence Pospisil, III of Acme and Ashley (Jamie) Pergola of West Newton.
Great nieces and nephews, Nico, Nolan, and Noah Dominick of Latrobe, Brystoll, Amelia, Maci and Rowen Ament of Acme and Alice and Eloise Pospisil of Acme.
His Godparents Angelo (Denise) Fontanazza Jr of Mt. Pleasant and Mary Lou Overly of Acme and numerous very special aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Angelo (Clara) Ostrosky Fontanazza Sr of Mt. Pleasant and Joseph and (Elizabeth) Anthony Pospisil of Acme.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hillman Cancer Center and Nurse Amanda and staff from Excela Health Home Care & Hospice.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Hoffer Wilt Funeral Home, Norvelt, where a Blessing Service will be held Saturday at 8pm, conducted by Fr. Killian Loch, OSB.
