William R. "Bill" Raecke

William R. "Bill" Raecke, 88, of Lincoln, died on November 15, 2024. Mr Raecke was born August 19, 1936, to Walter & Orral (Young) Raecke in Central City, NE.

Bill was united in marriage to Pam Allen on July 15, 1995, in Lincoln. Bill received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and went on to earn his Master's Degree.

Bill was a producer of the "Backyard Farmer". He was also a member of the Sesostris Shrine, Scottish Rite & was also involved as a Mason. He belonged originally to the Lone Tree Lodge #36 and after moving to Lincoln joined Lancaster Lodge #54. He was past President of the East Lincoln Rotary Club and Worthy Patron of Temple Chapter #271, Order of the Eastern Star. Bill also worked for Latsch's. Bill was small in stature but large at heart!

Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marjorie Jean Prince; brother, Richard Raecke; brother-in-law, Donald Prince; sisters-in-law, Viola Allen & Jeannine Sampson.

Survived by his wife, Pam; nieces & nephews, Antonia (Rich) Hughes, Marian (Larry) Schmid, Ann (Doug) Johnson, John (Tami) Prince, Susan (David) Smith, Dyan (Jay) Carlson & Joe Raecke; numerous great-nieces & nephews; brother-in-law, Donald Allen; sister-in-law, Georgia Raecke.

Visitation will be 12:00P-8:00P on Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln 68510. Interment will follow in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 5:00P-7:00P. Memorials are suggested to the Sesostris Shrine, Eagles Club #147 or the University of Nebraska Marching Band.
