William Wade Rainey, age 67, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
A man of many passions, Wade found immense joy in fishing and disc golf, activities that not only brought him happiness but also served as a way for him to connect with friends and nature. He was a proud and devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, a testament to his spirited enthusiasm for life and loyalty to his home state.
Professionally skilled, Wade was a talented carpenter who left his mark through various remodeling projects, always approaching his work with dedication and precision. His craftsmanship and creative spirit will be missed by those who relied on his expertise and generosity to bring their visions to life.
Beyond his talents, Wade was known as a valued and loyal friend. His kindness, warmth, and willingness to lend a helping hand made a lasting impact on many lives. He earned the respect and admiration of peers who recognized him not only for his skills but also for the genuine character he displayed daily.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Abbey Hospice for the compassionate care provided during Wade's time of need.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. While he may no longer walk among us, the memories and legacy Wade leaves behind will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who cherished him.
