William "Billy" Ray Sr.

William "Billy" Joseph Ray, Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 surrounded by family at the age of 67.
Billy is survived by his loving children William Ray, Jr. (Tracy), Eddie Ray (Jackie), Amanda Neal (Michael) and Amy Ray, as well as his 3 grandchildren Eddie Ray, Jr, Sadie and Molly Neal. He is also survived by his beloved pets Mel and Spunky and many cousins and friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his 1st wife Barbara Naulty Ray, his 2nd wife Carolann Adamo, his mother Mary Fancher (Ray), his daughter Lisa Ray, and his brother Harry Ray.
Billy had many hobbies which included spending time with family and friends, fishing, playing and coaching softball, and going to the Phillies games. He was a diehard Phillies fan. Billy loved watching his grandchildren grow up and seeing their milestones and accomplishments. He always had his phone in his hands to snap a picture at any given moment. If Billy was there, you're getting your picture taken no matter what. Billy cared about a lot of people, and a lot of people sure cared about him. He could spark up a conversation anywhere with anyone. He was such a friendly person, who will be greatly missed by so many people.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. His interment will be handled privately by the family.
