William "Ray" Wilson

Graveside services celebrating the life of Mr. William "Ray" Wilson will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Marty Harper officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Wilson, age 74, of Meridian passed away on November 3, 2025 at Regency Hospital of Meridian.

Ray was born on September 6, 1951 to the late Carl Ray Wilson and Janice Inez Arant. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Wilson worked for many years as an Aircraft Mechanic at the Navy Base. He enjoyed eating cake, camping, his dogs, riding his motorcycle as long as his health allowed, and being with his family.

Survivors include his fiancé, Angela Griffin; son, Carl Ray Wilson (Amy); grandsons, Josh Wilson (Kristin) and Dillon Wilson (Alex); great-grandchildren, Emily Smith, Chloe Wilson, Landon Wilson, and Lizzy Wilson; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Jean Wilson; sister, Janice Johnson; one brother that died during childbirth; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Josh Wilson, Dillon Wilson, Chase Pearson, and Josh Timms.
