William Ryder Reed

March 16, 1933 - June 21, 2025

Gig Harbor, Washington - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William Ryder Reed. Born on March 16, 1933, in Tacoma, WA. William passed away on June 21, 2025.

He was a beloved husband, father, loyal friend, and a respected FAIA architect.

William was a resident of Gig Harbor, Washington for over 60 years and held a strong love for his community.

William is survived by his loving wife,Pamiel Reed, brother Steve, sister Nancy, sons Bill and Jess and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Gertrude Reed and sister Barbara.

A celebration of life will be held at Chapel Hill in Gig Harbor Washington, on Monday, June 30th at 2 p.m.

Bill will be missed so much! Visiting with him in "the shop" while he was working on the decoy ducks was truly a great blessing. We treasure the time we had with him Our lives have been enriched.
