William Rombold Obituary

William M. Rombold 81, of South Pymatuning Twp., passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Rombold was born December 8, 1940, in Warren, OH, a son of the late Frederick and Anna (McMahon) Rombold. He graduated from Hickory High School Class of 1958. He served in the U.S. National Guard.

William resided in Key West, FL, for 30-years, owning a mobile home park. He returned to the Shenango Valley in 2002.

In his youth, he had a passion for racing cars and later collected Corvettes. He also enjoyed fishing and had a spot in his heart for dogs.

He is survived by a sister, Anna (Dennis) Bowser; two brothers, Fred (Erla) Rombold, all of Hermitage, and Clarence Rombold, Cochranton; and eight nieces and nephews. He never had children of his own, but raised Adrian Morales, Florida, and Lenny Kendzor, Sharon.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a niece and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to an animal shelter of the donor's choice.

All services are private. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McGonigleFuneralHomeandCrematory.com
