William Edward Ross, 62 years old, passed on March 8, 2025, after suffering a long illness. Funeral services will be held Monday March 17th at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Marietta Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12:00-2:00.
Eddie was born in Huntsville, Alabama at Redstone Arsenal. That led to his love for Alabama football-Roll Tide! Eddie would spend his early years traveling with family from army base to army base as our Dad was in the military. He graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1981. He had his own landscape company for a time before working for White Oak primarily installing irrigation. He managed Shady Grove Manor for a number of years, where he loved caring for the elderly and loading them in a van to take them to the concerts in Kennesaw. His last career which he really enjoyed was working at Publix while experiencing health issues.
Eddie was pre- deceased by father, James Ross and brother, Russell. He is survived by his mother Teresa Ross, One sister Martha (Dan) Futral, brothers Jimmie (Sheila) Ross, David (Julie) Ross.
Eddie loved dogs and children. He had four children Christy (Johnny) Roberts, Lindsay (Jacob) Donaldson, Kimberly (Caleb) Bracknell, Matthew Ross.
Eddie had twelve grandchildren: Tayden and Colten Roberts, Andrew, Ansley, Benjamin and Michael Donaldson; Jaxson, Anna Lyn, Oliver Covey, Kayden and Levi Bracknell, and Ryder Ross.
The family appreciates the care from the staff at Ross Memorial Health and Rehab. The love was felt by Eddie during his stay.

My deepest thought's and prayers are with Eddie's family. I have not seen Eddie in along time, but I remember the fun times we had in our younger years. I remember Eddie as a shy, wonderful and sweet young man. Eileen
