CPT William Boyce Ross

Funeral services to celebrate the life of CPT William Boyce "Bill" Ross, 85, US Army (Retired), of Anniston, will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Bishop Greg Ashley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Bill will be laid to rest, with full military honors, in Anniston Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.

Bill died on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Those preceding Bill in death include his parents, William Edgar Ross and Ruby Ross Gooding; his first wife and the mother of his children, Michele Ross; and his daughter, Christina Martine Ross.

Left to cherish the memory of Bill include his wife, Marie-Therese Ross; his two sons, Gary Ross (Kim) and Tony Ross (Christy); three grandchildren, Lexie Payne (fiancé, Payton Teague), Katelyn Ross, and Maggie Ross; three siblings, Steven Gooding (Donna), Bobby Ross, and Margy Ross; his stepchildren, Herve Goix (Chrystele), Gwenaelle Goix, and Guenole Goix (Charlotte); eight step grandchildren; and close family friend, Greg Ashley.

Pallbearers will be Gary Ross, Tony Ross, Brad Galloway, Carlos Garcia, and Paul Moore.
