William Charles Saunders was born May 15, 2002 to Eric Lee Saunders and Marquita Randall in Okmulgee and passed from this life February 2, 2026 in town of his birth.

William was raised in Okmulgee, Tulsa, and Okemah. He attended Okemah Public School. As a young man he began working in construction, first as a cabinet installer and later he learned the flooring trade. He relocated to Louisiana where he was trained as a heavy equipment operator. He returned to Okmulgee in May 2025 to be back with his close family.

William loved Dallas Cowboy and OU football. He also enjoyed the outdoors where he could fish, and he got a lot of excitement driving and watching monster truck competitions.

William was preceded in death by uncles, William Golden and Mosey Randall; an aunt, Ashley Golden; a great aunt, Mary Ann Wells; his maternal great-grandparents; Richard and Agnes Randall; his paternal grandfather, Bill Saunders; maternal great-grandfather, Eugene Golden; maternal great-grandmother, Louanna Wells; paternal great-grandmother, Judy Saunders; and paternal grandmother, Lynn Harwood.

Survivors include: three children, Timberly, McKinley, and William Charles Saunders, Jr., all of Louisiana; his mother, Marquita Randall of Oklahoma City; his father, Eric Saunders of Tulsa; a sister, Ericah Saunders of Okmulgee; two brothers, Zaccariah Randall of Okmulgee and Patrick Cheatwood of Castel; his maternal grandmother, Hannah Thornton of Okmulgee; maternal grandfather, George Golden; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A wake service will be held at the Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home in Wetumka Monday, February 9, at 7:00pm. His funeral service will be at the Methodist Church in Weleetka on Tuesday, February 10 at 1:00pm with Rev. Don Williamson officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Cheatwood, Zaccariah Randall, Mick Randall, Jr., Solomon Sands, Buck Randall, Steven Randall, and Tyler Pollard. Interment will follow in the Creek Chapel Cemetery near Okemah under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Weleetka and Wetumka.
