William C. Schamp

1932 - 2022

William C. Schamp passed away peacefully on November 12, 2022. Born on December 19, 1932 he was the beloved son to the late William A. and Margaret Schamp (nee Collins). William attended private high school in Norristown, served in the Army, and enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry. He retired from the J.D. Morrissey Company as VP of Sales. Previously, he was employed by the Sheriff's Department of Montgomery County and the Cincinnati Reds Organization. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and was a 32nd degree F&A Mason. William was a devoted husband to Antoinette (nee Grynastyl), cherished father to William C. Schamp, Jr. (Michele) and Denise Rossi, grandfather to Collin, Brendan, Ryan (Sarah),Sierra (Michael), Heather, Austin, and Emily (Cooper), great grandfather to Eloise, Hampton, and Caroline, and friend to many. He will be missed by all who loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to William's Life Celebration on Sunday November 20, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm and again on Monday November 21, 2022 from 9 am 9:50 am followed by his Funeral Service at 10 am at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike.
