William "Bill" Shotzman, 92, of Greenwood passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016. He was born August 17, 1924 in Quenemo, Kansas. He was a loyal member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood. He was a decorated war veteran and member of the local VFW. Bill retired from the U.S Postal service after 38 years of dedication.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eiko Shotzman of 56 years; son, Mike, Shotzman; his parents and four siblings.

You are invited to join us in the celebration of Bill's life. The funeral will be 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Greenwood with the Rev. Ronnie Deal officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home. Viewing will be Sunday 1-8 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Greenwood where the family will visit friends from 5-7 P.M.

Bill was not only a beloved husband, but a devoted father and proud grandfather. He is survived by his two daughters, Kathy McCraney and husband, Cooper and Patty Holland and husband, Shorty and grandchildren, Kasey Tidwell and husband, Levi, Maegan Holland, C .J. McCraney and wife, Katie, Brodie and Mariko McCraney.

Pallbearers will be C.J. McCraney, Brodie McCraney, Levi Tidwell, Aaron Shepherd, Erik Labrada and Jace Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, 479-314-8030.
