William G. Skinner, 80, of Montvale, NJ passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024.
William was born on October 10, 1944 in West Orange, NJ. He was the son of Elizabeth (nee Neudeck) and William E. Skinner. William grew up in West Orange and was a resident of Wayne, Little Egg Harbor, and Naples, FL before moving to Montvale, NJ. He was employed as the Director of Distribution at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Pearl River, NJ and later as a Real Estate Agent while living in Florida. William was a Golf enthusiast. He also enjoyed watching Basketball, rooting for his favorite team, the Boston Celtics, playing Billiards and running.
William is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth (nee Valvano) Skinner, his loving children, Denise Ciccarelli and her husband, Joe and Brian Skinner and his wife, Crystal. He was the brother of Barry Skinner and his wife, Alicia and cherished grandfather of Evan, Leo, Sophia, Brooke, Owen, and Avery. William was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Patricia Wahlers and Sharon Sheridan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, November 29th from 4:00-7:00 PM at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave, Summit, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, November 30th at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave, Short Hills, NJ. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ.
