William Sledd Obituary

William Leo Sledd, Jr.

William Leo Sledd, Jr., 86, of Glen Allen, Va., went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sherrin. He is survived by his sister, Joanne S. Ward; niece, Christina A. Ringo; nephew, Christopher J. Ward; as well as a host of cousins; great-nieces; and a great-nephew. He retired from Capitol One, enjoyed playing golf, and loved their dog, Molly.

A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
