William Clyde "Bill" Smith

William Clyde "Bill" Smith, 74, of Crab Orchard, KY passed away March 10, 2026 at Stanford Crossing Nursing Home in Stanford. Bill was born on June 6, 1951 to the late George Green and Zelma Mae (Todd) Smith. Bill was a kind man, and a gentleman for sure. He loved his family and neighbors, and was always eager to lend a helping hand when possible. He had enjoyed farming in the past, and he was a monument headstone installer for many years for Stanford Monument Works. He was a former concrete block mason as well.

Survivors Include:

One Son, Justin (Jessica) Smith

Three Grandchildren, Jayson, Jayden, and Jaylynn Smith

One Sister, Frances King

Two Brothers, Glenn (Mary) Smith and Wayne Smith

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Nicole Smith on June 11, 1995, as well as one sister, Sandra Gail Smith Herring, and three brothers, Ray, Floyd, and Dale Smith.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel, 147 Main Street, Crab Orchard, KY 40419

Officiating Minister: Bro. Dan Gutenson

Place of Burial: Corner Cemetery

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Funeral Time on Saturday at McKnight Funeral Home
