William Solomon Obituary
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, Massena on January 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Mother Sonya Boice, officiating.
Bill was born in Danbury, Connecticut on June 13, 1935 to Peter and Bertha (Kubek) Solomon. He attended Danbury School. Bill was the General Manager of WPDM/WSNM from 1978 to 2009. He married Judith Singer in Danbury, CT, on August 27, 1955.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Lisa Gilloti (Jeff) of Stanton, NE, Leanne Solomon (Sharon), of Lake Arrowhead, GA, and Jennifer Rider (Edward) Waddington, NY; his grandchildren, Kevin Zippi, Branden Rider, and Devin Rider; and ten great-grandchildren.
Bill is predeceased by his parents, his wife Judith; two sisters, Martha and Ronny; a son, David Solomon, and three grandchildren, David Zippi, Jenna Lee Rider and Janna Lyn Rider.
Bill enjoyed his time playing golf, and spending time with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids; and was an avid Clarkson University Hockey, NY Mets, and NY Giants fan.
Donations may be made in Bill's memory to St. John's Episcopal Church in Massena.
